Craig S Hare - ALB Achiever
Craig S Hare
1st Ranked
Hats off to the ALB front-runner Craig S Hare! Hailing from the Kingston Ontario area with a passion for multispecies angling in the St. Lawrence River and lakes to the north. Craig’s catches clearly show prowess for catching and understanding the habitat use of smallmouths and Lakers. Craig climbed and is perched on the top of the Regional Leaderboard with a catch score of 2,236, strong species diversity score of 36 that bumps him up to a ALB total score of 3042 and rising.
Craig told us “I've really enjoyed using the PhotoMeasure board to keep track of my catches! It's a good way to keep a sort of diary so I can develop seasonal patterns and movements of the fish I target. My favourite part of the sport is putting together a game plan based on the weather and water conditions that you are dealing with on any given day. When you work all week and only have the weekend to figure them out it's nice to have many tools and different techniques in your bag to help capitalize on your opportunities!
Craig said PhotoMeasure reminded him of a quote from an Ernest Hemingway's book called The old man and the sea: " It is better to be lucky. But I would rather be exact. Then when luck comes you are ready."
With a smallie measuring in at 50.8 cm, or about 5.1 lbs, Craig is a contender! Keep rocking the ALB leaderboard Craig!
